INVAR SV2 system “Artificial Vision System applied to the Road Safety”, a dynamic inspection system of roads equipped with advanced technology. The use of high resolution image acquisition devices and sensory (inclinometers, accelerometers, gyroscopes) allow records in field of most information available from the state and the situation of our roads; also the elements which constitute it (geometry, horizontal and vertical road signs, road pavement, security barriers, lighting, drainage, structures, margins, visibility…).

For processing and treatment of field recorded images, routines and scheduling algorithms are used. The result is a situation inventory and the condition of the different elements of roads.

Service project stage takes inventory information as its starting point. Combining it with traffic and accident databases, and applying regulations, impact studies and road safety audits are made. From this analysis state of road as well as state of road signs on it, can be known.
